Mountain Safety

These sessions are suitable for Pro Team members and will mainly be aimed as preparation for the BASI Mountain Safety module.

Cost: £66 per session

You'll need a backpack with safety equipment, which can be rented from BASS, depending on availability. You'll also need touring skis and boots, which can be rented in-resort if you don't yet have your own kit.

Everyone will require a minimum of……

  • Transceiver

  • Shovel

  • Probe

  • Backpack to transport the above.

  • Skis you are happy to use for an off-piste descent (between the pistes, not a tour).

  • Suitable clothing and equipment for the duration.

  • A smile and sense of humour 😀.

If anyone has other touring equipment, skins, map, etc. , feel free to bring it along.
