Ed Brown

Ed is a very experienced instructor who knows exactly the best places to take you.  He has been living and working in Les Gets and Morzine for many years and knows it like the back of his hand!

Why Ski with ED?

Ed is a genuinely lovely chap who has a relaxed and easygoing manner that will put everyone at ease; he can instantly get along with everyone!  This gentle persona combined with the deep understanding of all aspects of skiing allow Ed to really hit the mark in helping you get what you want out of the sessions.

Ed is very versatile on snow, being a very talented Telemark Instructor and a BASI Telemark Trainer, he is also a qualified and experienced Snowboard and Adaptive Instructor.

Outside BASS Ed is a full time Trainer for BASI, with responsibilities to train and assess instructors coming through the British system, he is often running instructor training and courses in the Portes du Soleil, around UK and Europe throughout the summer months!

Ed is as comfortable giving technical input to excellent skiers as he is providing reassurance and confidence building to nervous skiers.

About ED

Ed proposed to the lovely Lesley at the top of Arthurs Seat in Edinburgh, they are having a Scottish wedding at the end of the summer although we're not sure if Ed has been persuaded to wear a kilt yet!

Ed spent many summers teaching skiing in the southern hemisphere with Lesley before making Edinburgh their summer home.

Ed has climbed Mont Blanc twice, skiing it the second time.
